Quality is the cornerstone of our commitment to our customers...it is the backbone of how we run our business.

Our devotion to quality starts with our crew members. While there are no licenses to be a contractor, each one of our crew members is rigorously trained by me to ensure they uphold our family name.  I am very intentional about passing my knowledge and expertise down to my crew and staying accessible to my customers if I am not on the job site.

In our industry, it’s not uncommon to take shortcuts when obtaining permits for a project or offering cheap materials to keep costs down for major add-ons, such as deck building or an outdoor kitchen. However, I’ve literally built and repaired thousands of decking and fences in Houston and seen firsthand the impact cutting corners has made on a property value and a homeowner’s pocketbook. The risk isn’t worth the reward, as the consequences of cutting corners can far outweigh the upfront savings. At Emerson Home Exterior Enhancements, we take pride in doing the job right, minimizing the chances of any future problems.

This is why we are careful with the material and methods we use for each fence and deck we build. When it comes to wood, the preferred choice in Houston we hand select each picket and board, use only grade-A lumber and if you opt for another material such as composite, vinyl, or aluminum decking and fences, then you can trust that it comes from the leading manufacturers in our industry such as Trex, ARTX Fences, Imagine Decks, and Jerith manufacturing.  When you compare our materials and the construction of our decking and fences to those of other Houston contractors, the quality of an Emerson deck, fence, or hardscape will shine through.

 

Integrity

We simply follow through with what we say – this means completing your project when we say we will (weather permitting), sticking to the price we quoted you, and spending as much time as necessary to make sure you are happy with the finished project. No project is completed until you have signed off that you are completely satisfied with the results and if you are not then we will make it right without any excuse.
